"Keep Me Where the Light Is" Prints

"Keep Me Where the Light Is" Prints

from $35.00
Print of original acrylic and pastel on canvas. The first layer of a painting challenge aimed at detaching from the outcome. Inspired by a photograph from my best friend, Sierra Cruz, this image captures the true essence of "romanticize your life." The scene is encapsulated by a border of eyes and stars mimicking a photo in a frame.

It is so human to want to document memories. Memories have a life of their own. As humans, we also document to be seen. We feel as though if we aren't seen, we don't exist. The eyes and stars (or flashes of a camera) scribbled on the border of the piece symbolize that great urge to exist.

Museum-quality posters made on thick matte paper.
